Offshore Pipeline Cathodic Protection

Deepwater has lead the way in pipeline corrosion prevention by pioneering new cathodic protection technologies for offshore pipelines - both for new construction and the life extension of brown field assets. Our foundry has produced bracelet anodes for many high profile offshore pipeline projects.

New Construction

Deepwater can supply bracelet anodes for pipe installations. Or for deep water pipelines, post-installed, ROV-friendly systems featuring RetroSled™, RetroClamp™ and Smartpod save time and money during the speedy installation process.

Life Extension (Retrofit)

Deepwater has completed more offshore pipeline life extension projects than any other company world wide. Our field proven anode connection system Retroclamp™ offers fast installation, without the need to remove the pipeline coating, in a standard off the shelf item, fully ROV friendly.  Pipelines all over the world are reaching the 25-30 year mark.  Deepwater can replace the anodes on any offshore pipeline.

Design Solutions

Deepwater's field proven MathCad based 'Pipemod' CP attenuation calculator is made freely available to third party engineering companies to architect your installation for optimal anode placement, helping you manage the installation costs.

RetroSled is designed in two basic styles: the traditional rigid sled and the larger expanding sled.
