SunStation™ Mini

The Polatrak® SunStation™ Mini is a retrofittable version of the SunStation™ light-powered LED readout system that uses solar panels instead of batteries. It can operate in depths of up to 3,000 meters to display numerical data when activated by a powerful light source, which is normally the ROV's headlights. The SunStation™ allows ROVs to collect CP data without making stab readings.

Unlike the larger SunStation™, this smaller version doesn't require a RetroClamp™ to provide an electrical connection to the asset. The readout unit is installed first, with magnets on its base providing a strong attachment to the steel structure; a second magnet, attached to the readouts via leads, is placed via ROV on the location to be monitored and makes the electrical connection that provides the CP readings.   

Measuring 18.6" x 11" x 6" with a weight of just 33 lbs, the SunStation™ Mini can be quickly and easily placed on or near structures, pipelines and underwater equipment to be monitored.
