Timbersleds™ installed on Tampa Terminal
Deepwater was contracted to design and commission an impressed current cathodic protection (ICCP) system to restore cathodic protection provided to the Marathon Tampa Terminal dock which includes the North mooring dolphin, loading platform, center mooring dolphin and the South mooring dolphin.
The ICCP system consists of two existing rectifiers and two new timber anode sleds. Each rectifier is rated for 40 DC volts and 100 DC amps. Each timber sled is designed to operate at a nominal CP current of 50 A for its design life.
