This is an Inside Sales position selling Deepwater’s industry-leading I-Rod Pipe Support Products and Polatrak Probes via telephone within the global energy market. The position is based in our Houston office with a strong, goal-oriented sales team.

Job description:

1. Inside sales for Pipe Support Products
2.  Arrange to ship outgoing orders 
3.  Invoicing for all products 
4. Other duties as assigned


1.  Inside sales for Pipe Support Products
a. Quote price and delivery information via phone, fax, and e-mail
b. Order entry, customer inquiries re-order status
c. Solicit bids from suppliers to enable quoting non-standard bolt products
2. Arrange shipping for outgoing orders
a. Trucks for domestic shipments
b. Freight forwarders, vessels, air carriers for international shipments
3. Invoicing for all products
4. Other duties as assigned
a. Assist answering operator telephone
b. Check sales at company website
c. Monthly reports: agent commissions, inventory valuation

Prerequisite education & experience:

1. Education: High school diploma, or general education degree (GED), or 2 to 4 years related work experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. Language: English language fluency in reading, writing, and speaking. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
3. Mathematical Skills: ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
4. Reasoning Ability: Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
5. Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Salesforce (CRM); accounting software Peachtree and MAS200.
