Let the holidays begin!

On December 17, 2024, Deepwater once again hosted its annual Christmas Party and White Elephant Gift Exchange, held this year at the somewhat nearby Senate Avenue Brewery in Houston. Gifts, grub, grog, gaiety, good will and gossip abounded as Deepwater’s expert team took a short break from controlling corrosion.

The White Elephant gift exchange might well have been called the Pink Elephant gift exchange, as the bulk of the gifts (and the most coveted) were alcohol or alcohol-related items. Participants weren’t shy about claiming their buddies’ booze, either, as the gift exchange resembled a rugby scrum with presents. In the end, most participants were pleased with their haul. Or at least pretended to be.

The company’s rank and file would like to add a word of appreciation for Deepwater’s event planners for a wonderful meal capped with hefty gift cards for dessert.
