Deepwater Norway AS and Corrmatec AS have announced a collaboration to expand the companies` offerings in subsea corrosion prevention and materials technology services. Deepwater Norway, a specialist in marine corrosion protection and Corrmatec, a firm specializing in materials technology, offshore engineering and integrity management see great synergies in working together, and will now be able to embrace a wider scope of engineering services and supplies of corrosion prevention and protection systems.
“I've known Jan Oredsson, the General Manager of Corrmatec [for] several years, and I am excited about our newly signed collaboration agreement”, says Svenn Magne Wigen, Managing Director of Deepwater Norway. The companies have seen a tendency for the oil and gas operators to place enquiries with multi-disciplined scopes of work, so this collaboration will position the two companies to meet the clients` new contract strategies.
"I am happy and proud [of] this collaboration and the opportunity to work together with Svenn and his team," says Jan Oredsson. By joining forces on complementary competencies the firms have formed a strong supplier in the engineering services and corrosion protection system market and are especially excited about the opportunities in the corrosion and materials systems modeling arena where Deepwater’s capabilities will prove highly competitive.
