Deepwater Norway AS and Corrmatec AS have announced a collaboration to expand the companies` offerings in subsea corrosion prevention and materials technology services. Deepwater Norway, a specialist in marine corrosion protection and Corrmatec, a firm specializing in materials technology, offshore engineering and integrity management see great synergies in working together, and will now be able to embrace a wider scope of engineering services and supplies of corrosion prevention and protection systems.
“I've known Jan Oredsson, the General Manager of Corrmatec [for] several years, and I am excited about our newly signed collaboration agreement”, says Svenn Magne Wigen, Managing Director of Deepwater Norway. The companies have seen a tendency for the oil and gas operators to place enquiries with multi-disciplined scopes of work, so this collaboration will position the two companies to meet the clients` new contract strategies.
