Way Ahead In Corrosion Control

PET excavating from airboat.jpeg

Quick, diverless excavation

The PET™ was developed to quickly excavate buried underwater pipeline to attach monitoring test leads or additional anode sleds. In shallow water, buried swamp and river crossings, the PET™ can excavate up to 12 feet underground in less than an hour. The tool eliminates the need for traditional excavators and dive crews, reducing the cost of a single keyhole excavation by up to 70% over traditional methods. Using the PET™, Deepwater can install multiple clamps with test leads on nearby pipelines in a single day.
